Everyone is invited to experience firsthand how the theater of emotions transforms when you not only watch but also participate. "Great Emotions" is not a traditional theatrical performance, but a playful gathering offering genuine insights.

Theater is often about sharing emotions. When this happens, we're no longer alone with our feelings—others empathize with us. Theater offers many ways and even a few tricks to help us share emotions. But to be honest, despite all the tools and tricks, we never really know what will happen. Because ultimately, every feeling and every moment in the theater is unique. And that's precisely what makes it so exciting.

In this rehearsal with an audience, children suggest feelings they would like to share in the theater, and the team on stage gives their all to make that happen. In doing so, we explore questions about the connection between feelings and theater: What happens to feelings when we share them? Can feelings be invented? What role do music, lighting, and acting play?
We critically examine old ideas embedded in difficult words like "catharsis" or "agitation": Do we need to be cleansed of feelings? Should theater balance feelings or rather intensify them?

In this workshop, we encounter sad adults, angry children, classic dramas, and ultimately explore what feelings actually have to do with animals. Everyone is invited to experience firsthand how the theater of emotions transforms when you not only watch but also participate. "Big Feelings" isn't a traditional theatrical performance, but a playful gathering offering genuine insights. This workshop is for people aged 8 and up—wild, shy, or loud—and asks: How do children feel today? What does theater do to our feelings? And what do we do with them?
